Here’s an idea for the next Fedora SIG:

BMW is seeking partners for an open source computing system for it’s cars.  “BMW said it wants to have an open-source system in a vehicle selling 200,000 or more units over the next five to seven years.” (motorauthority.com)

With several other car companies interested in hearing more, this could be another huge breakthrough for the linux community.  One that has far more potential than the Microsoft-in-Ford idea – really, who wants a car that crashes twice a day?
